Celebrating Relationships: Our October Client Appreciation Events

When I look back at this past year, my favorite project – hands down – was the series of Client Appreciation Events my Firm hosted in October. These events were designed as a sincere “thank you” to the clients who continue to trust us as their advisors, and they ended up being some of the most energizing moments of our year.
Over the course of two weeks, we hosted four separate events in venues located near each of our office markets. Top-level clients were invited via email and could choose whichever event was most convenient for them. Registration was handled through a short survey that also allowed clients to indicate whether they would be bringing a guest. One of our goals was to make sure clients had the opportunity to connect with someone from their own advisory team, so we coordinated attendance to ensure at least one Principal or Manager would be present for every registered client.
Each event featured heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar, creating a relaxed environment where meaningful conversations came naturally. While all four events were successful, our Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, gathering stood out as the largest. Held at a beautifully renovated mansion near our headquarters, the evening included a self-guided tour of the property and brought together 95 clients and 27 team members. During this event, our President shared brief remarks expressing how fortunate we feel to grow alongside our clients in the Camp Hill region and thanking them for their continued trust in our Firm.
At our smaller events, that appreciation took an even more personal shape. Instead of formal remarks, our President moved through the room, speaking individually with each attendee and offering his thanks directly. That personal touch resonated not only with clients but with our team as well.
Across all four events, we welcomed approximately 250 clients. It was a memorable reminder that behind every engagement, every project and every milestone are relationships built on trust and collaboration. Being part of a project that strengthened those relationships, and showcased just how much our clients mean to us, made this one of the most rewarding initiatives of my year.
