Nominations Now Open for AAM’s Marketer of the Year Award
January 16, 2024 | Lexington, KY – The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Marketer of the Year award until February 15.
The 2024 Marketer of the Year award, presented by AAM, is now calling for nominations, marking another year of celebrating marketing excellence in the accounting sector. This esteemed award, a highlight of the AAM Summit, is more than just a recognition; it’s a testament to the innovative and strategic achievements of marketing professionals in accounting.
Eligibility for this prestigious accolade extends to senior marketing professionals in accounting firms, with a minimum of three years in a key marketing role across different firms or within the same firm. The nomination window is open until February 15, 2024, through our online portal. AAM encourages self-nominations and nominations from peers, embracing the diverse talent from firms of all sizes.
“In recent years, we’ve witnessed a significant transformation in the accounting marketing landscape,” observes AAM Executive Director Rhonda Clark. “Marketing leaders are increasingly becoming key strategic partners within their firms, driving growth and innovation. This shift has been marked by agile adoption of technology and proactive, forward-thinking strategies,” she adds.
Nominations are encouraged to recognize individuals who have not only embraced this evolution but have been instrumental in creating new opportunities through their visionary leadership.
Following the submission deadline, a panel of judges from The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) will assess each nominee. The evaluation will be based on a spectrum of criteria, including strategic contributions, measurable financial impact, collaboration efforts, and forward-thinking approaches in strategy, analytics, and technology.
