GETTING TO KNOW YOU

What types of AI strategies does your firm/company employ?

We employ a variety of AI strategies, including predictive analytics for forecasting trends and AI-driven marketing automation tools that make our campaigns more efficient and effective. Leveraging platforms like Jasper for content creation, our goal is to marry AI with human creativity to deliver the best results.

What is the structure of your marketing department?

Our marketing team is divided into a few groups: brand, operations, inbound, creative, events, advisory and marketing area leaders. Each group brings a unique flair to the table, and together, we create a marketing powerhouse!

What is a “must know” for new accounting marketers around AI?

Start with a persona! Understanding your audience deeply is crucial for effective AI implementation in marketing. When crafting AI prompts or strategies, always start by defining the persona of your target audience. Know their demographics, preferences, pain points, and behaviors. (You can even ask AI these things!) This ensures that the AI can generate content, suggestions, or analyses that are highly relevant and tailored to your audience’s needs, thereby increasing engagement and effectiveness.

What are your special skills in AI or what is something people may not know about you?

I’m an AI whisperer! I can take complex AI concepts and break them down into bite-sized, understandable pieces, making it easier for the whole team to get on board and get excited about using AI.

What is the biggest benefit you receive from your AAM membership or what affect has AAM had on your career?

The biggest benefit is the community! AAM has connected me with so many brilliant, forward-thinking minds. The collaboration and shared learning opportunities have been invaluable for my professional growth.

Share one AI tip!

Don’t be afraid to experiment! AI is evolving rapidly; what works today might not work tomorrow. Keep testing and iterating to find what works best for you, your team, and your goals.

What is the biggest project you are working on right now?

Not just one project but many! I am currently leading marketing for two newly launched industry groups: professional services and family office. I am incredibly excited about this opportunity and look forward to driving growth and innovation within these groups. It’s an amazing chance to cultivate success and enhance our market impact in these areas.

If you had an unlimited budget, what is one thing you would implement immediately?

I would implement a dedicated video team. With the increased demand for video content in our marketing strategy, having a specialized team would significantly enhance our capability to produce high-quality, engaging videos quickly! This team would focus on everything from video creation and editing to animation and motion graphics, ensuring our content stays fresh and captivating.

What blogs/social feeds do you subscribe to that are helpful?

I subscribe to The Artificial Intelligence Show with Paul Roetzer. This podcast is a treasure trove of insights and updates on AI trends, tools, and strategies. Paul and Mike do an amazing job of breaking down complex AI topics into easy-to-understand segments, making it fun and actionable for marketing professionals.
