- What metrics does your firm track and how are they shared?
- We have quarterly meetings with our divisions and niches where we share relevant analytics like keywords people are searching to find us in Google, new and improved keywords we are ranking for across all search platforms, blog views and time spent on page and form submissions to deal creation, etc.
- What is the structure of your marketing department?

- What is a “must know” for new accounting marketers?
- Utilize your AAM network! There is a diverse range of skillsets, and everyone is kind and supportive. This group of people will be an incredible source of support when you have questions.
- What are your special skills or what is something people may not know about you?
- People may not know that I am an identical twin and I just got married on June 13th this year!
- What is the biggest benefit you receive from your AAM membership or what affect has AAM had on your career?
- I have made so many amazing connections through the AAM network. Everyone is so kind and willing to support one another whether it’s with work or personal matters. I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime.
- What do you feel is the biggest issue is facing accounting marketers today?
- The industry is constantly changing and improving whether that’s our messaging or how we lay out/name our service lines. But change often means growth and it keeps us moving forward!
- What would you be doing if you had not become a marketer?
- Fantastic question! I always wanted to be a vet growing up, so I’d like to think I would have pursued that route. However, with my business/marketing degree, I would probably do well in a project management type of role.
- What is the biggest project you are working on right now?
- Our team is working on some brand awareness and lead generation campaigns to meet our fiscal year new client goals for a couple different departments. Tailoring our messaging to the right targets and utilizing different tools/formats like YouTube pre-roll advertising, LinkedIn ads, email drip campaigns, etc. takes a lot of attention to detail and coordination!
- If you had an unlimited budget, what is one thing you would implement immediately?
- I would implement all HubSpot Enterprise hubs! HubSpot is a great tool and helps us keep everything in one platform. Their functionality and reporting is unmatched.
- What blogs/social feeds do you subscribe to that are helpful?
- SEO – Search Engine Land, Ahrefs, Neal Schaffer
- General Marketing – HubSpot, Marketing Brew
