Learning Lab: Mastering Prompt Engineering in M365

Join us for an engaging and interactive session where you’ll learn the essentials of prompt engineering within Microsoft 365. This event is designed to provide you with practical knowledge and hands-on experience with various M365 Copilots, including Biz Chat Copilot, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint and Word.

Agenda:

  1. Introduction to Prompt Engineering in M365 (15 minutes)
    • Overview of prompt engineering and its significance in M365.
    • Introduction to Biz Chat Copilot and how to effectively prompt it.
  2. Biz Chat Copilot: How to Prompt (20 minutes)
    • Detailed explanation of how to create effective prompts.
    • Showcasing examples of successful prompts and their outcomes.
  3. Exploring PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint Copilots (20 minutes)
    • Demonstrating the capabilities of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint Copilots
    • Tips and tricks for leveraging these tools to enhance productivity.
  4. Hands-On Experience Task (15-20 minutes)
    • Participants will be given a task to complete using the discussed Copilots.
    • The task will involve creating prompts and utilizing the Copilots to achieve specific goals.
  5. Discussion and Q&A (15 minutes)
    • Participants will share their experiences and outcomes from the hands-on task.
    • Open floor for questions and further discussion on prompt engineering and Copilots.

By the end of this session, participants will have a solid understanding of prompt engineering in M365 and practical experience with Biz Chat, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint Copilots. They will be equipped with the skills to create effective prompts and utilize these tools to enhance their productivity.
