Association for Accounting Marketing Opens Nominations for the 2026 Marketer of the Year Award

Nominations are now open to recognize standout marketing leadership in the accounting profession.

January 15, 2026 | Lexington, KY — The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Marketer of the Year award through Wednesday, February 4.

Presented annually at the AAM Summit, the Marketer of the Year award recognizes a senior marketing leader who has delivered exceptional impact—helping their firm grow, elevating the profession, and pushing marketing forward through strategy, insight, and innovation.

Nominees must have at least three years in a senior marketing role within a public accounting firm (not necessarily at the same firm). AAM welcomes self-nominations and peer nominations and encourages submissions from firms of all sizes.

“Marketing leaders in our profession are doing far more than promoting services—they’re shaping firm direction,” said Rhonda Clark, Executive Director of AAM. “They’re building momentum through smarter strategy, stronger collaboration, and a more future-ready approach to growth. This award is our chance to recognize the leaders making that kind of impact.”

A panel of judges will evaluate nominees using criteria that consider strategic contributions, measurable impact, collaboration, leadership, and forward-looking use of data, analytics, and technology. Full details and nomination instructions are available via the Marketer of the Year Award page.

To nominate a candidate, submit the nomination form by February 4, 2026 at https://accountingmarketing.org/engagement/awards/marketer-of-the-year/. Questions can be directed to [email protected].
