In this month’s Articles of Interest feature, rather than offering some helpful articles to read, you’ll find the names and social handles of some of the top “influencers” in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Rand Fishkin is a well-known name in the world of SEO. He founded and led Moz for 16 years. Moz is a widely used software suite for improving search engine visibility. A frequent keynote speaker on marketing and entrepreneurship, Fishkin’s new venture (launched in 2018) is SparkToro, described as software that makes market research accessible to all.
Neil Patel, Cofounder Neil Patel Digital
Neil Patel is a bestselling author and co-founder of Neil Patel Digital. He is described by the Wall Street Journal as a top influencer online. Neil shares thought leadership and SEO strategy across several social channels and has over 400,000 followers on LinkedIn.
Marie Haynes is considered by many to be a leader in SEO strategy. She is known as a great source for keeping up with Google algorithm changes, which is critical to SEO success for any business.
While Hubspot built its reputation on inbound marketing, it has a big focus on SEO. Hubspot offers some free tools you may find helpful, including a website grader and blog idea generator.
