Meaden & Moore is currently seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to work closely with our Marketing Team. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for communicating, promoting, and advancing the Meaden & Moore brand through compelling and engaging content and visuals. This includes bringing our company culture and expertise to life through our social media platforms.

Key Job Functions:
A brief overview of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create, maintain, and execute social media policies, strategy, and programs.
  • Monitor trending content, including competitive response and reputation management; analyzes trends and deploys initiatives as a result.
  • Create compelling campaigns that increase brand reach and impressions.
  • Compile, report, and analyze data related to online marketing campaigns.
  • Build inventory of content, developing content as necessary, ensuring content is relevant, correct, informative and is low risk to company brand; ensures proper tagging for maximum placement in search queries.
  • Grow social media following on all platforms and lead expansion into new platforms.
  • Differentiate brand through creative and innovative campaigns and strategies.
  • Conduct social media best practice trainings.
  • Maintains knowledge of social media best practices and trends.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related discipline.
  • 2+ years professional experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist or equivalent experience in marketing, including social media content, development, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of social media applications, social media management platforms and analytics tools. Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as outside clients. Incumbent must be able to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative team player.
  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical and creative, as well as oriented toward strategy development and execution.
  • Knowledge of Asana or similar work management platform is a plus.
  • Photography and video experience a plus, but not required.
  • Design experience is a plus, but not required (experience with Photoshop, Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms).
  • Professional services firm experience is a plus.

Environment Description – Work Location and Expected Travel:
The physical demands of this position include but are not limited to: the ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time, and complete large amounts of administrative paperwork. However, occasional travel by car may be required to provide administrative support to other Meaden & Moore offices and assist with off-site meeting and client events. Incumbent must be available to work overtime as needed, sometimes with little notice.
