What is MarkeTrends?
Written by industry experts and your colleagues
in the world of accounting marketing, AAM’s publication
– MarkeTrends – provides AAM members with
ideas, concepts, tools, strategies, and other resources to assist
them in accomplishing daily tasks-at-hand and help them
in building their firm’s book of business.
Look Forward to Each Issue!
Each issue is jam-packed with a wealth of information
regarding various marketing projects, business development initiatives,
career growth tips, or other news pertinent to the changing needs
of our industry in general and accounting marketing in particular.
In MarkeTrends you will also find updates
regarding local AAM chapters, information about various committees
and projects that are underway, a list of new AAM members, and
information about the Association and its efforts on behalf of
its membership. Through one of the new features – “The
Partner’s Perspective” – you’ll also gain
insight into the minds of accounting firm partners with respect
to their views on marketing.
A Valued Resource
MarkeTrends is one of the most valued
resources AAM provides for its members. Trust us when we tell
you, you don’t want to miss a single edition! In 2009, MarkeTrends
will be celebrating 20 years in publication. That means that AAM
has published over 120 editions of this invaluable resource! Browse
a past edition.
Articles from past editions are featured on the
Web site. Members can browse articles
from the late 80's and early 90's for a look at what was “cutting-edge”
in accounting marketing over ten years ago. In many cases, you’ll
find the accounting marketers launching the "beginning of
this profession" were truly ahead of their time…many
of the items they wrote about are still valid issues today!
Get Involved
MarkeTrends is published six times a
year and is compiled by a team of volunteer AAM members whose
goal it is to insure that each edition is rich in content of value
to accounting firm marketers. If you’re looking for a way
to get involved in the Association, have a knack for writing,
and can handle multiple editorial responsibilities, think about
joining this very active, hands-on Committee! Interested members
