| While our historic
locale certainly played a role in the selection of our theme for
AAM Summit 2003, “Revolutionary Marketing” speaks
volumes on many levels. Public accounting is changing and our
profession, accounting marketing, has more than a little influence
over future perceptions of the industry. Much like Paul Revere,
we marketers must help lead the charge and illuminate the way
in shaping our firms for growth and prosperity during this unusual
time.
AAM Summit 2003, June 11-13, brought us relevant,
hard-hitting topics that both sparked our creativity and provided
us with tangible tools to take back to our firms. The credentials
of this year’s speakers were more impressive than ever.
The conference attendance was the largest in
AAM's history. AAM members and non-members from all over the country
are applying what they've learned in the 2 pre-conference sessions,
25 concurrent workshops, 3 general sessions, roundtable discussions
and networking events. They continue to push themselves –
and their firms – to raise the bar ever higher. A revolution
in accounting is underway – and marketing is a vital component!
